The Zhang Lab is an experimental quantum-computing group in the Department of Applied Physics at Yale. We build programmable arrays of individually-trapped ytterbium atoms in optical tweezers and work to push them further as a computing platform — toward larger arrays, faster operation, and higher fidelity, the bottlenecks that limit neutral-atom processors today.
